NURSE ABILITY ABUBAKAR is a Registered Nurse who graduated from Niger State College of Nursing a few years ago.
He is a Nurse Advocate that has succeeded in bringing like-minded Nurses from the Northern part of Nigeria together, by creating a platform known as the AREWA NURSES FORUM. This forum seeks to accommodate Nurses from Northern Nigeria to stand together as a force for the development and advancement of Nurses in Northern Nigeria.
Nurse Abubakar is the Media Manager/Coordinator/Zonal Director in Nigeria for the Nursing Now Global Campaign Project (2018-2020), Founder/President Arewa Nurses Forum, Publicity Secretary Nurses Revolutio, Media Assistant Nurse Hub Africa, Secretary Nurses On Air Transformational Leaders.
OWOLABI AYODEJI GABRIEL
Ayodeji is a young, vibrant and dedicated Nurse, who has lived a mark in Nursing by contributing to the improved public perception of who Nurses are, what they do and what They represent. His Dream is to see Nursing become the most respected profession in Nigeria.
"Ayenfejesu" as popularly referred to by his fans, he is Co-founder /Executive Director of Nurses on Air, Africa's foremost Digital health media broadcasting, branding and advocacy powerhouse. His passion for journalism and advocacy inspired him to enroll for a course in Broadcast journalism after graduating from Nursing school.
On Nurses on Air, The young but mighty broadcaster does not only host the weekly show,(Nurses on Air Radio show) but has also been actively involved in the organization's projects like; NIMER AWARDS, Generation Next Talent Hunt, Nurses Act4SDGs and many more.
OTOJAGHALE MERCY MARY popularly Referred to as "A Nurse with a difference" is the founder of the popular Nurses lecture room forum. Her passion for academics led her to create the page, where she posts consistently; timely, valid and easily interpreted lecture notes to her viewers and subscribers...
The page has active social media handles with over 5000 nurses /nursing students on their WhatsApp group, and more than 11000 followers on their Facebook page. The page helped prepare over 200 students for nursing and midwifery council exam in November 2018, and currently preparing 230 students for the forthcoming exam in May 2019.
Her whet is to see that there is an overall high success rate by Nursing students in their final qualifying exams. This has further inspired her to develop a simple nursing application on play store which contains more than 200 lecture notes,1800 objective questions, and more than 200 past theory questions.
just like the story of Moses in the Bible, Adeyemo has been an instrumental figure that has led the National Association of Nigerian student Nurses and midwives (NANSNM)to their promised land.
He is an activist who loves to fight for human rights and also love to be at the forefront of any struggle that would liberate and empower people. This unique attribute has earned him the opportunity to serve in many institutions.
Amongst some includes: President of the Student Union Government (SONFETHI), Chairman of National Electoral Commission (NANSNM), whose leadership qualities has given many students the strength to believe in themselves, the government and Nursing in general.
During his third year in School of Nursing, he carried out a research on knowledge, Perception, and Attitude of Nurses towards Involvement in Politics. His findings revealed that most nurses have poor knowledge, wrong perception and bad attitude towards politics. As a resolute man, he established an organization called Nurses And Politics Nigeria, an organization aimed at fixing the cracks and bridging the gaps between Nurses and Politics in Nigeria. The organization currently have a WhatsApp platform consisting of about 500 Nurses from every nook and cranny of Nigeria, where nurses are groomed, nurtured, encourage and supported to become agents of change in Nursing through Politics.
He is currently the head of media at Nursing blog (www.nursingblog.com.ng), Also the convener of an ongoing campaign tagged "WETIN NURSE DEY DO SEF?" a campaign aimed at sensitizing the public on the roles of nurses in the health care system by informing the uninformed and correcting the misinformed.
OSAGIE MERRY ODEMWINGIE
Osagie&Merry is a leading voice in Nigeria Nursing today for his prowess in helping many develop a sense and culture of Entrepreneurship in order to bring financial liberation.
The UBTH school of Nursing graduate is the founder of "THE C.E.O NURSES NETWORK", a medium of advocacy to Nigeria Nurses to embrace Entrepreneur and Self Goal... He has Mentored over Two thousand Registered Nurses As well as Other Unaccounted Allied Medical Professionals on the path Of Private Health care Establishment.
Amongst these Numbers, About 40 Nurses have been able to set up their own Private Health Facility across Nigeria through his guidance.
ADENIKE OLAKUNLE (The sent nurse) as she is fondly called is a passionate Registered Nurse with 4 years experience in practice.
She is a passionate believer in the nursing profession, and specifically believes she's isn't called to care for just the human body, but also their spirit and soul. Hence the reason she has gained diverse skills and qualifications to care for the human body, soul, and spirit.
As a passionate lover of the profession, she is one of the board of directors, and the deadline manager at Fellow Nurses Africa where she's also one of the columnist. She authors a blog which she founded (www.thesentnurse.com) in 2015. Rendering healthcare services including health information, tips, and advice to the public.
OYEWOLE ABIODUM SHERIFF
Whenever you hear about Nurses Got Talent, this is the face behind this great platform that has helped Nigerian Nurses synergize their talent into the Art of caring.
Currently, Oyewole is the Chief Operation Officer for ‘Nurses Got Talent Foundation’, which was jointly founded by his old standing friend from SON-UCH, and Brand Ambassador for Vigor Health Drive, Atlanta Georgia. The USA.
The foundation which has a cooperate social responsibility, have seen 600 people benefitted from its free medical check-up for the community and roughly 700 adolescents have also benefitted from free gift donation (giving back to the community movement) ranging from the sanitary towel, pen, pencil, mathematical set and exercise books.
Currently, his Foundation is planning a primary school tour to benefits southwest states and capture about 3000 primary school pupils in public schools to benefit from the Foundation donation of books, socks, pencils, and consumables.
KUYORO OLATUNJI CATHERINE
If there is one Nurse in Nigeria who can use her last penny and drop of blood to fight against the menace of quackery in Nigeria, her name is "Catherine"
The Nurses revolutio founder is a quintessential figure in the fight of Quality Nursing care for Nigerians.
She independently organized the first anti-quackery walk in Lagos state, Which led to the Closure and ban of many illegal Hospital training centers for quacks commonly referred to as" Auxiliary Nurses".
The Babcock university graduate is also one of the founding members of Africa's largest media broadcasting organizations -Nurses on Air, a platform she uses as a tool for preaching the gospel of Health and Wellness to the public.
The Nigerian Florence Nightingale had featured as a guest on many Radio and TV broadcast to speak about the roles of Nurses in Healthcare, correct misconception about Nurses and also reveal the uniqueness of Nursing as a Profession.
Her organization has organized health outreach within and outside Lagos state, sponsored events in collaboration with NJO &NGT, Online teaching and coaching of over 400 nurses on self developments topics, rebranding process, academics e.t.c.
If it takes SARS 30 minutes to respond to a case of internet fraud, it's definitely going to take Nurse Catherine lesser time to respond and mobilize to tackle any issue of quackery across Nigeria.
ABIODUM OLUWATOBI HEZEKIA
He is one of the youngest Nursing stars in Nigeria who have shone a bright light upon the face of Thousands of Nurses in Nigeria, both old and young.
The American heart association instructor is the founder of the largest online forum of Nurses in Nigeria-NJO (Nurses jobs and opportunities) where he has empowered over 1000 Nurses with job security as well as exposing Nurses to other opportunities that they can take advantage of to enhance their career growth.
He has successfully organized 3 webinars from 2017 -2019 where he invites; vast, knowledgeable and resourceful speakers to teach Nurses on A range of topics like; Emotional intelligence, leadership, management and administration, financial freedom, mentorship, career growth, health investment and many more.
He is a strong advocate on the Need for optimal utilization of Social media by Nigerian Nurses.

Nurse Oluwatosin is a motivational speaker, life coach, writer, author, blogger, and a Nurse-Journalist. Fondly referred to a "FATHER OF MODERN NURSING", He is Editor in chief/CEO Fellow Nurses Africa: Africas fastest growing online blog For Nurses.
To many, Nursing is a calling, but to him, Nursing is a mandate, he lives for Nursing. He is a lover and an advocate of Nursing and Nurses. Changing the negative public perceptions of Nursing through innovations, advocacy and policymaking have been his major desire.

Organized by the International Council of Nurses, International Nurses Day celebrates the contribution that nurses make to societies around the world. The date has a very strong significance, being the birthday of perhaps the world’s most famous nurse, Florence Nightingale.
Nurses are Indeed the voice to lead, and if we must lead, we must cautiously involve the younger Nurses in other to sustain the progress and momentum for future generations.
